On my 6th week as a SNU exchange student, I went to the friendly match between Korea and Japan. The euphoria was so apparent starting from the subway station. Something was very familiar. Guess what?
Everybody was wearing RED! I thought it was Singapore National Day or something. XD Well, apparently the soccer team color for Korea was red as well! At the entrance of the subway station, I purchased the football jersey and devil's horn due to the excitement (and a bit of peer pressure). HAHA! But I really love it! The jersey was really nice and light and guess what, I really love the devil's horn. It came with lights too. XD

Before the match started, BEAST (a newly famed Korean boyband) performed a few songs making the fangirls shrieked all around the stadium. HAHA! Then, the stadium was filled gradually by ensemble of audience. The opening and the start of the match was really spectacular with all those cheers by the Red Devils! I really enjoyed cheering with them all!
Unfortunately, the match ended up as a draw. I was thinking of jumping and screaming all my heart out if Korea did score a goal. HAHA!
Another event this week was the International Food Festival. On this festival, exchange students and international students came together as fellow countrymen to serve 'traditional' food of their own country. I was at the Singapore team, not because I decided to abandon Indonesia once and for all. It was because Indonesia decided not to participate on the festival due to ingredients scarcity and logistics problems. Oh well. On the other hand, I really enjoyed helping out the Singaporeans in selling their food. The Singapore stall sold Pisang Goreng, Roti Prata and Chicken Curry. HAHA! Sounds good? Believe me, it tasted heavenly. I was the chef for the Pisang Goreng on the 2nd day of the festival. =)

At the end of the festival, we, our team, were satisfied with our own performance and everybody went home with a smile and pride. =)

peace
