In short, life in SNU was much more better than life in NUS. In NUS, students were studying for grades (a sad fact, though. Why? Simply because the Koreans were celebrating Korean Thanksgiving Day, known as Chuseok. Koreans (who lived on the city) went back to the countryside where their elders (grandparents, usually) resided. They went back and had a big family reunion and feasted on rice-cakes, known as songpyeon. HAHA!
